HOCKEY
We use two facilities for our hockey practice and matches. Our seniors play at Wellacre Technical College in Flixton, while our junior members play and train at Urmston Grammar School next to Urmston Sports Club.
All our members have full use of the Urmston Sports Club clubhouse including the bar and changing rooms.
Our match season runs from September to March but we are active all year round with many summer social events and tournaments.

We have 4 Men's senior teams.
Our first team plays in Division 1 of the Northern League, while our other teams play in the North West Hockey League North, our second team being in the top Division.
We have 3 Ladies' senior teams.
Our first team plays in the North Hockey League West, while the other two compete in the Greater Manchester Hockey League.
We also enter mixed senior tournaments throughout the year.
Our Juniors play in the Greater Manchester League, with boys teams and girls teams at U11 and U13, and mixed teams at U10 and U15.
We run coaching programmes for both senior and junior members from September to March:

Tuesday evenings 19.00 - 21.00

We run internal tournaments during the year for all our members, including a Christmas Tournament for senior players, juniors and their parents and a Seniors 1-day tournament in the summer.
