The Manchester Softball League has been steadily growing since its foundation 25 years ago. The league plays its competitive matches in Didsbury.

At Urmston Sports Club we have fun and welcoming sessions for anyone wanting to try this increasingly popular sport.
The senior section covers ages from 14 upwards; we also have junior sessions for children 8-13 years old.
Men, women and children are all welcome to join this very inclusive activity.
During the winter, the Manchester Indoor Softball League runs from October to April at Trafford Soccerdome.
Coaching/training sessions
We have two adult sessions per week (age 14+):
- Sunday mornings: 12:00-14:00
- Thursday evenings: 18:30-20:00
Our junior session (8 - 13 years) :
- Sunday afternoons : 14:00-15:00
Teams
Adult mixed gender teams play weekly nationwide. There are players from every level training at Urmston Sports Club, from beginners to Great Britain national standard.
If you enjoy the beginner sessions, we can find you a team to match your ability.

We run various softball fun days / tournaments at the club; keep an eye out for dates.
Any member who'd like to run a softball day for their family and friends should get in touch with Luis and he’ll happily organise a fun event.
